Brand Me: Mastermind with Keisha Mabry

In this mastermind, branding and networking expert Keisha Mabry will lead young professionals through a 5-step process to build their brands from scratch. Attendees will brainstorm their passions, brain-dump their purposes, and leave with a customized brand statement in preparation for the civic engagement, the nonprofit involvement, and the forging my path afternoon sessions.

About the Presenter

Keisha Mabry is an author, speaker and social entrepreneur on a mission to change the world one connection at a time. She has been featured on National Public Radio, the Nine Network, Fox 2 News, Next Step U, The Business Journal and Blavity for her work in personal branding and networking. In addition, Keisha is a lecturer at the Washington University in St Louis, a contributor for the Huffington Post and her TED talk and new book Hey Friend: 100 Ways to Connect with 100 People in 100 Days is a movement to make the world friendly again—or at the very least friendlier than it’s ever been. Keisha believes that by connecting people to people and people to resources she can increase movements, access, communication and progress to get the right people in the right seats to end inequality. Breakout Discussions

Hyper-Local Politics
We know you don't have to be mayor to make a difference, but where do you start? This panel will highlight individuals who have gotten involved in their local government committees, councils, neighborhood associations etc. to help young professionals understand how they can flex their civic muscles.

Forging Your Own Path
Nowadays, career paths are rarely linear. We will hear from trail-blazers whose winding career paths have been driven by a personal mission, and perhaps have led to self-designed opportunities to serve an unmet need.

Nonprofit Involvement: Thinking Outside The Box
Finding a meaningful opportunity to give back can be harder than you'd think. Learn from leaders who have used their strengths to create opportunities for others through nonprofit involvement in order to help young professionals understand how they can do the same.

Free for FOCUS members; $10 for all others.
